Creation of a multifunctional micro needle patch
Project name: “Creation of a multifunctional micro needle patch”.
Project objective: To create an innovative product through R&D activities
During the project, the company UAB “ASMBR Technologijos” together with its partner VšĮ “Kauno kolegija” will implement a project. During the project, it is planned to create a universal/multifunctional long-term patch with spirulina extract, designed to reduce inflammatory processes and minor skin defects (burns, scars). The construction of the patch is based on 3D printing and electrospinning technologies. This allows creating a product containing microneedles of various shapes, which are filled with spirulina extract and provide the human body with necessary and useful substances.
During the project, it is planned to conduct tests of the developed product under real operating conditions (evaluate the amounts of active ingredients, conduct a study of the long-term stability of active ingredients, optimize the conditions of use of the microneedle patch, conduct studies of the effectiveness of the microneedle patch, the release of beneficial substances from the patch) and produce a pilot batch of the product.
The project is financed in accordance with the description of the activity “Promote innovation supply” (Central and Western Lithuania region) of the Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, the manager of the 2022–2030 development programme, and the conditions and procedure established in the Project Administration and Financing Rules.
