NAD+ tests instructions
1. Preparation
- Before starting, allow the test kit to reach room temperature.
- Remove all components from the packaging.
- Ensure you are well hydrated before collecting the blood sample.
- Collect the blood sample before eating.
2. Preparing for Blood Collection
- Wash your hands with warm water and soap, then dry them thoroughly.
- Remove the sample card from the protective sleeve.
- Tear off the “KEEP THIS” section and keep it for your records.
- IMPORTANT: Fill in all required information on the card.
- Stimulate blood flow by letting your arm hang down and gently swinging it back and forth, bending at the elbow and straightening the arm downward.
3. Collecting the Blood Sample
- Clean the side of your ring finger (fourth finger from the thumb) with the alcohol wipe and allow it to air dry completely.
- Use the lancet provided in the kit to prick the side of the fingertip pad.
- Gently squeeze your finger until a large hanging drop of blood forms.
- Avoid excessive squeezing or massaging of the finger.
- Place one large drop of blood onto each circle on the sample card.
- IMPORTANT: Do NOT touch the specimen area of the card with your finger.
- Allow the blood drop (not the finger) to come into contact with the paper.
- Check the sample – at least 50% of the circles on the card must be properly filled.
4. After Sample Collection
- Apply a bandage to the finger.
- Insert the sample card back into the sleeve, avoiding contact with the specimen area.
- Allow the card to dry at room temperature for 3 hours.
5. Packaging the Sample
- Place the sleeve with the card into the foil bag and seal it tightly.
- IMPORTANT: Do not remove the drying agent inside the foil bag.
- Place the sealed foil bag into the paper envelope.
- Store at a temperature below 25°C (77°F) and avoid direct sunlight.
6. Shipping the Sample
- IMPORTANT: Ship the sample no later than the next day after collection.
- The test kit includes a pre-addressed envelope for shipping.
7. Receiving Results
- Within one week after the sample is shipped, the results will be uploaded to the database.
- You can access your results at bloodo.com using the code printed on the “KEEP THIS” section of the card.
